Smoking ban in Greece - will it ever happen? - what happened a place in greece
I live on a Greek island and has a child of 3 months. I can not take place because smoking in all pubs, restaurants, business people. People smoke in the bank, IKA offices in the cafes and playgrounds, including the doctor smokes in his office. I was a smoker before I was pregnant, but had the good sense to quit, and I never smoke in the presence of children or babies.
I'm not going to weddings and other social occasions with my baby, and I know we have dozens of people around us suffer smoke. Why Greece is so far behind the rest of Europe when it comes to such things?

The Greeks have known that smoke .... much. Since there is no known prohibition in the strong countries and other European countries, the United States against smoking (because of the correlation and widespread smoking and lung cancer and other serious lung disease), tobacco companies have their campaign for the country where enforcement is minimal or non-existent place.
As companies grow their products in Greece, snuff, where the Greeks are still the image of "oi ksipnoi kapnizoun Marlboro", "Ston topo tis kseniasias ela me ena camel," etc. (eg ads are really wpow er for them to believe that it in baking when removed).
